Memory cafe for dementia and Alzheimer's sufferers opens in Coventry

MEMORY cafe open days for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s take place in Coventry this month.

The city-based Koco charity, which supports people in the community, is running two free memory cafe cognitive therapy sessions for those with dementia or Alzheimer’s at the Rose Community Centre, Spon End.

Koco charity staff will use a combination of memory boxes, music and food to stimulate sufferers’ memories during the specialist workshops on Monday, July 9, and Monday, July 16. Both will run from 11am until 1pm and carers are welcome to attend.

For more information, contact Grant Murray, administrative support officer, on 024 7671 4988.
