Ask Dr Ruth a Question
I'm please to announce that Dr. Ruth Westheimer has agreed to answer questions about Alzheimer's from readers of the Alzheimer's Reading Room (ARR)

Dr. Ruth's recently published book, "Dr. Ruth's Guide for the Alzheimer's Caregiver", sends a simple straightforward message to Alzheimer's caregivers: You are not alone.

In the book Dr Ruth presents coping strategies for both the practical problems and emotional stresses of Alzheimer's care.

Dr. Ruth shows you how to avoid caregiver burnout; get effective support from family and friends; resolve family disputes; maintain your relationship with a spouse or parent with Alzheimer's; manage behavior; make your home safe; and deal effectively with doctors, care providers and facilities.

Note: You can ask your question in the comments area below this article. Simply submit your question and it will be forwarded to Dr Ruth. The answer will be published here on the ARR.

Marie Marley reviewed the book for us and here on the ARR and here is what she had to say.
After reading the book, I concluded that it’s one of the best on this topic (Alzheimer's) I’ve ever read. And I’ve read a lot of them.

I am really looking forward to your questions, and Dr. Ruth's answers and advice.
This could turn into a real learning experience for all of us.
Please take the time to participate.
