Local Illinois Alzheimer's group breaks from the Alzheimer's Association


A disagreement over finances and program support has driven a wedge between the Illinois Valley Alzheimer’s Group and the Peoria-based Central Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

“We really have split. We were sending all our money down to them, but we weren’t getting any programs,” Peg Gonet, IVAG co-chairman, said.
