Angela Rippon has won the National Dementia Care Ambassador in recognition of her role as an Alzheimer's Society Ambassador.
She was presented with the prize last night at the 8th Annual UK Dementia Congress.

The broadcaster, journalist and presenter has been an Ambassador for the charity since 2009 and has spoken openly about her experience caring for her mother, Edna, who died with dementia in 2009.
