Woman allegedly stole house, car, assets from dementia patient

Police arrested a woman they said defrauded a 74-year-old dementia patient out of more than $100,000.

Deborah Verna, 61, is charged with felony theft in excess of $100,000, fraud schemes and misuse of power of attorney, Prescott Police Lt. Ken Morley said.
